I hold a Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I provide counselling services for clients in Ontario and Alberta, supporting individuals through diverse challenges with a compassionate and evidence-based approach.
I specialize in working with clients navigating neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, and co-occurring conditions), relationship difficulties, identity development, grief and loss, burnout, and major life transitions. I also have a unique focus on athletic identity and sports psychology, drawing on my background as a former national team athlete. I understand the complexities of performance pressure, transitioning out of competitive sport, and coping with injury, grief, and identity challenges that athletes often experience.
As someone who is neurodiverse, I bring lived experience alongside professional training and academic research. My graduate research explored the experiences of young adults with co-occurring autism and ADHD, which informs my ability to provide neuroaffirming counselling tailored to the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergent clients.
My practice is rooted in trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and decolonized care. I collaborate with clients to ensure therapy is shaped by their values, goals, and lived experiences. To best meet individual needs, I draw from several approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, psychodynamic perspectives, and somatic approaches. I have completed foundational training in ACT and Narrative Therapy and continue to expand my expertise in psychodynamic modalities.
I do not believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Instead, I tailor counselling to create a safe, supportive, and responsive process where clients can explore their challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
